This Privacy Policy explains how Hygeia Health ("we," "us") handles information in the Hygeia Baby mobile app. The app helps parents and caregivers track breastfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding, diapers, and their baby's growth, set feeding reminders, order a breast pump through insurance, and access breastfeeding education and lactation support.
Solely to operate the app: signing you in, storing and displaying your tracking history and statistics, and sending the reminders you configure. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising. Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and stored on servers hosted with Amazon Web Services in the United States. Push notifications are delivered through Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service.
We share data only with the infrastructure providers needed to run the service (hosting, push-notification delivery, transactional email), and only as needed to provide it. We do not share personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, in either of these ways:
What is deleted: your account and login, all baby profiles, all tracking history (breastfeeding, pumping, bottle, diaper, and growth records), your reminder/notification settings, and the device tokens used to send notifications.
Timing: deletion requests are completed within 30 days. We do not retain personal data after deletion, except where retention is required by law.
The app is intended for adults (parents and caregivers). Baby information is entered and controlled by the parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.
